How Does One Melt Glass?
I would like to melt chips of broken glass into wire frames for art purposes. Can I do this with an acetylene torch, or would I need a kiln?

I want to learn the art of glass tobacco pipe making.
I want to hang heavy glass drink coasters on the wall as art. They are cork on the back. Could someone point me towards products that would help me get them to stick to the wall?
I'm looking for classes for making vases, bowl, cups, and other glass work and art too in Miami
One of my friends was told that she can't submit a piece she's been working on for months because it has lyrics from Atmosphere's "Pour Me Another," a bottle and a shot glass. Is this just our art teacher being crazy, or does College Board not accept pieces depicting alcohol/substance abuse?
Basically what the title says. I'm enrolled there in the fall and was curious if they offered a glass blowing class? Thanks
This 1958 original "Blenko" piece is in excellant condition, with removeable stopper intact. It's "art deco" appeal was created by Wayne Husted, who was the artist for blenko glass until 1964. It's reddish orange coloring is , I believe called Amberina, with the sandblasted "Blenko" marking on the bottom classifies this as an authentic Blenko piece.
I would love to hear from anyone out there with knowledge of Blenko, or perhaps a collection of their own.The beautiful, colorful, artistic pieces surely have captured someone else's attention!! Please write back and tell me what you know about "Blenko"
I need to draw/paint a black outline onto some glass for my art work, so that i can fill it in with glass paint and i am not sure what medium to use as this black outline. any ideas please?!
